RV Detailing Wash and Wax Service
Hey guys. Brian here with Limelight Detailing in Meridian, Idaho. I here to talk to you about our wash and wax service for RVs and travel trailers, cargo trailers, as well as toy haulers. Basically, if you have an aluminum or fiberglass body of vehicle, this is designed for you. What this level of service entails is this is kind of the second stage of our RV wash and wax process. If your gel coat is in pretty good shape or if your fiberglass is in pretty good shape and it doesn’t have a lot of oxidation, this is the level for you that you’d want to select.
What we do in this package is we completely wash the exterior of the vehicle, and make sure that all the bugs and dirt and debris are properly cleaned. If you have pop outs or slides on your travel trailer or RV, or class A motor home, we’re going to make sure that all of that is cleaned properly. We apply a six-month protectant, which is a wax and sealant hybrid that we put on the outside of the gel coat. Or if you have fiberglass, it would also apply to that. And what that’s going to do is really just keep … As you know, with gel coats and fiberglass, if you leave it just sitting out in the sun and it’s not properly protected it can really start to cause some fading and oxidation in that gel coat or fiberglass.
So we add a protectant to that to not just bring the color back to life, but to really protect it against the sun and future wear and tear. If you have an awning or if you have any other plastic trim or rubber trim on the outside of the vehicle, we’re going to make sure that that also gets a UV protectant to keep those plastics and vinyl and rubber shining and looking good for many months to come. We also make sure that your wheels are glossed and looking good. If you have rims on your vehicle, we would also put polish those as well. So if you have a travel trailer or a cargo trailer, RV camper that needs a little bit of love and you want it to be protected for up to six months, give us a call or book online.
