Hey guys, Brian was Limelight Detailing in Meridian, Idaho. I just want to talk to you a little bit about our washing and waxing services on RVs that we’re starting to focus on for this season. The weather’s starting to warm up and get really nice outside, so we’re doing a lot of different:
- RV’s
- Travel Trailers
- Fifth Wheels
Removing Oxidation From Our Services | Strict Wash & Wax
We are moving more towards a strict wash and wax service this year. We are removing the oxidation removal part from our website and from our services menu. With a lot of the older RVs, it is a lot of work to remove oxygenation. We’re not confident in the results that we’re getting, so we are moving more to a singular wash and wax service where we’re applying wax and removing it rather than removing oxidation and then applying wax.
What Units Does Limelight Detailing Provide Wash & Wax Services For?
Today, we are working on a beautiful Dutch Star by Newmar. This is a big 45 foot RV. Obviously, this is a beautiful coach, but we do work on a wide range of:
- Travel Trailers
- Fifth Wheels
- Class A Motorhomes
If you have a:
- Fiberglass Unit
- Gel Coat Unit
- Painted Unit (this is what the one in the video has)
We would love to take care of that for you as long as there’s not any oxidation that needs removed. That is something that we’re moving away from.
How Often Should You Wash & Wax Your RV?
As far as what we recommend for our service, we do recommend getting it done twice a year. This is an optimal time to get wax applied here to your vehicle when the weather’s about 50 or 60 degrees, and then once again in the fall. Those are two popular times, and that’s what we recommend for service to get your RV washed and waxed.
