Hey guys, Brian here with Limelight Detailing in Boise, Idaho. And today I wanna talk to you a little bit about ozone treatment. We get a lot of questions about this service, and what, exactly, it entails.
So what I have right here is a little Ozone machine. And this is what we use to put on the inside of your vehicle after we’ve completely cleaned it. We offer the Ozone Treatment as an additional service, after we’ve completely cleaned the inside of your car.
What this machine does, is it completely kills any kind of active bacteria that’s in your car. So basically anything in the air, on the inside of your vehicle. Its primary use is to kill any bacteria by completely sucking the oxygen out of the inside of your car.
How the Ozone Treatment is Done
So what we do, is we completely shut all the doors, after we’ve completely cleaned our car, and we let this thing run for about 12 hours. This completely gets ozone down into your AC unit and heater core, and kills anything on a molecular level.
Why do an Ozone Treatment on my Vehicle
So if you have any kind of lingering odor, like cigarette smoke, or if you have mold or any other kind of residue that’s causing some weird smell on the inside of your car, that’s what we use this for.
This is a service that’s often offered by a lot of different hotels, and bars, and restaurants. They use this to get rid of any kind of lingering odor. And so this same machine that they use to completely clear the inside of rooms, hotel rooms, etc. , we use it on the inside of your car to completely clean it.
How Much Does Our Ozone Treatment Cost ?
So this is typically an additional $75 add-on service that we can offer. We’re also currently using this as a free upgrade if you book with our COVID-19 Sanitation Special that we’re currently running.
