Hey guys. Brian here with Limelight Detailing in Meridian, Idaho, here to share with you about our interior boat cleaning service. What this entails is it’s a complete interior detail of your boat, whether it be a ski boat, a jet boat, or a pontoon boat, we treat all of those the same.

We start out by completely vacuuming the entire inside of your boat, the glove compartment, the ski locker, all of the equipment bays, all of those places that can get sand and dirt and other particles in there, we make sure that all of that is vacuumed properly.

The next thing that we do is we’re going to shoot the entire inside of the boat with the compressed air. This’ll get rid of the sand that you might’ve collected from the beach, any other kind of dirt. We make sure that all that is blown out properly.
The next thing is if you have any kind of upholstery, a lot of times with these newer boats, you’ll have carpet or running floor mats, any of those, those are all going to get shampooed to remove any stains, watermarks, etcetera. We make sure that those are shampooed and dried properly.

And then lastly, and probably most importantly with the interior of boats, we have a lot of vinyl and plastic surfaces, as well as fiberglass, and so your entire interior is going to get a very heavy protectant over the top of it. What that’s going to do is, as you know, boats sit out in the sun all day and so they really can take a beating. The protectant that we put on there is going to last for up to six months so whether this is at the beginning of boating season, in the middle of boating season or towards the end, it’s really important that you protect your vinyl and plastic so that it doesn’t start to peel, crack and fade.

The last thing that we do on the inside is all of your glass is going to get cleaned and properly taken care of so that it gets rid of any bugs or water spots on the inside. So, it’s a complete interior detail of the boat.
