Costs to Wash & Detail Your RV or Trailer
Hey guys, Brian here with Limelight Detailing. Thanks for swinging by our website and taking a look at this video. One of the questions that we get often and that I just want to answer is what does it cost to wash your RV or detail your RV? What Limelight details:
- RV
- Camp Trailer
- Cargo Trailer
- Horse Trailers
- Bumper Pull Trailers
- Fifth Wheels
- Class A Motorhome Diesel Pushers
Pretty much anything with wheels and fiberglass or paint, we can do it.
Cost Options | RV Detailing
So we have three different cost options for you.
Option #1: Basic Wash
Our first option would just be our basic wash, which is $4 a linear foot. So basically we measure from the very back end of the unit to the front cap. We don’t charge for if there’s any like bike racks or trailer hitches or anything like that sticking out. It’s just the length front to back of the unit. You can check out our services page and see exactly what that entails but it’s $4 a foot for that.
Option #2: Wash & Wax
If you’re looking to have your RV washed and waxed this would be $10 a linear foot. This is recommended twice a year. If you have full automotive paint or if you have just regular fiberglass with decals, it’s something that you’ll want to do about twice a year. The product that we use is graded to last about six months. So for example, if you have a 40 foot unit, it would be $400. Once again check out our services page to see everything that that service entails.
Option #3: Wash, Oxidation Removal & Wax
If you have a little bit older unit, typically we see this on smaller bumper pull trailers or fifth wheels, but if you have a little bit of oxidation on your RV, that’s $15 a foot due to the process being a lot more in depth. We have to completely wash everything and then we have to remove the oxidation and then apply the wax on top of that. So it’s more of a two-step process to get that done.
