Hey guys, Brian here with Limelight Detailing in Meridian, Idaho and today I want to talk to you about the exterior product that we use in our Limelight package, as well as the same product that we use on boats and RVs. We often get asked at Limelight what the type of products are that we’re using and putting on your vehicle, so I want to answer those questions for you.
Chemical Guys Jet Seal | Auto Detailing Product
We have chosen to use Chemical Guys as our main line of products that we use. They’re a wonderful product line. We use those on our interior and exterior detailing services, as well as on all of our boats and RVs. What Limelight uses is Chemical Guys Jet Seal and this is the primary sealant that we use on all of our boats and RVs as well as our vehicles when we’re doing our Limelight package. So this is the highest level of sealant that we apply to your paint.
How Long Does Chemical Guys Jet Seal Last?
This stuff lasts between six and 12 months, depending on how clean you keep your vehicle and whether you run your car through an auto wash or not. If you’re someone that’s washing your vehicle by hand, or if you have a vehicle that’s stored properly parked inside and doesn’t sit outside much in the elements, it can last up to 12 months. It’s a wonderful product. This is a synthetic sealant, so this is not a wax. There’s a big difference between the two. You can check out some of our other videos where I explain what the main difference is between a sealant and a wax, but this is a 100% synthetic sealant. So this is going to bond your paint really well and provide the most durable amount of protection as possible.
