Update on Exterior Detailing in the 2022 Season

Hey guys, Brian with Limelight Detailing in Meridian, Idaho. I just wanted to give everyone an update on the 2022 detailing season. Spring is just around the corner, it’s starting to warm up a little bit. It’s actually snowing right now but here in the next couple weeks, it’s going to be warming up and we can start taking RV washes and waxes, as well as the exterior of your vehicle. 

We get asked a lot this time of year, what is a good time to detail your vehicle especially on the exterior. And actually, going into March is an excellent time.

Why Should I Get an Exterior Detail for my Car, Truck or RV?

First of all, you’re going to be getting rid of all of the roads salts and chemicals that have been put on the roads and all of that can be removed off the exterior of your vehicle with any of our exterior detailing services. Same thing with your RV. If you’re pulling it out of storage and you’re getting ready to go on a road trip, or if it’s been stored and there’s some chemicals and road salts on it, now is an excellent time. So, we’ll be able to remove all of that and clean up a lot of the exterior of your vehicle.

Paint Protection for the Exterior of Your Vehicle

Moving into the spring and even into the summer, a lot of our paint protection lasts approximately six months. So, it’s a great time to do it iIf you get it detailed in March or April, you’re going to be protected going in to the summer, into the warmer months, and then when it’s much hotter outside. So, now is a great time to do the outside of your vehicle.

    Brian does amazing work. He goes above and beyond. He detailed two vehicles in one day by himself because his co-worker did not show up. When he was done the vehicles looked brand new. The seats were wet but it was only 50 degrees outside lol. They will dry! I am super impressed with his work and his ability to work with me on the confusion of which vehicle got what package.
